Synergy Design Group is currently looking for an Exhibit Logistics / Warehouse Manager. The successful candidate will support company day to day operations in an effective and productive manner. Timely and accurate completion of duties is of the utmost importance to the effective management of the warehouse and events, working cross-functionally to successfully plan and manage the installation and dismantle of exhibits at trade shows nationwide.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping and receiving of materials and coordinate with freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of items to various delivery addresses
- Proactively seek out information, anticipate the needs of the lead management/project coordinator(s), and provide updates to team members as needed
- Be physically involved in the installation/build of exhibits and displays at the warehouse as well as at convention halls and client locations around the country
- Manage local employees, and supervise sometimes large groups of contract labor at remote sites, while monitoring various ongoing projects in order to meet important deadlines
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, team members, and maintain a good working relationship with all
- Be responsible for accurately receiving, recording/updating and carefully checking incoming inventory, and maintaining current inventory
- Think critically to problem-solve quickly
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Work comfortably on ladders, properly lift items and adhere to proper safety measures when utilizing equipment within and outside the warehouse
