Graphic Panels for Court History Exhibition

COURT HISTORY GRAPHIC PANELS

The Honorable Mary Ann Vial Lemmon and historian John Magill chaired and curated, respectively, “Transient Justice,” a continuation of the court history exhibition at the Hale Boggs Federal Building in New Orleans, LA. The installation uses freestanding graphic panels to educate viewers on the 10 sites of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana prior to the dedication of the courthouse in 1976. Moreover, our first collaboration with the Association from 2018 entitled “Jackson’s Bodyguard,” uses the same style panels. Therefore, the interior looks cohesive for our client.

Event Backdrop for Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana

We collaborated on this branded event backdrop and banner stands for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana’s 5th annual Town Hall Round Table & Luncheon. The events connect local minority businesspeople with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, through membership, the Hispanic community accesses programming, capital and opportunities on a state and national level. Therefore, we highly recommend joining #HCCL. In fact, we would love to connect you if interested.

Banner Stand for Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission

VERSATILE BANNER STAND

We couldn’t have picked a better organization than the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) to win our giveaway at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana’s 2018 Hispanic Business Trade Show and Conference. #JEDCO does amazing work for the Greater New Orleans region, attracting new businesses, growing existing companies and supporting entrepreneurship. Keep up the great work, JEDCO! Event displays like this banner stand are super versatile, perfect for events and recruiting efforts. Additionally, they serve as amazing marketing pieces for offices. Furthermore, they are portable and lightweight, ideal for small teams to set up.

Portable Display Makes the Most of 10×10 Trade Show Space

MAKING CONNECTIONS

We love helping our customers show off their brands at trade shows and events. It’s equally fun when we are able to show off our own! Today we are exhibiting at the 2018 Connections: the Corporate Planning Expo at the New Orleans Convention Center. We brought our 10-ft portable display, banner stand, case to counter conversion and monitor stand with us. The best part? Our one-woman team could set it up all on her own. For example, the portable display fits right into the case to counter conversion. So easy!

New Orleans Tourism Marketing Authority Debuts New Brand

NOMCVB’S REBRAND TO NEW ORLEANS & CO. CELEBRATES PEOPLE & CULTURE

Introducing New Orleans & Company

May 16th, 2018 was a special day for New Orleans and our Synergy team. We attended the brand launch party of one of the city’s most influential organizations. The New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau became New Orleans & Company. The New Orleans tourism marketing organization’s rebrand was the first in six decades and timely as we honored New Orleans’ Tricentennial.

The Meaning Behind the Rebrand

After rousing musical performances from Black Magic Drumline and the Victory Belles, New Orleans & Company President and CEO Stephan Perry revealed the new name and its meaning. “Company” refers to enterprise but also to the city’s warm and hospitable culture. Perry stated, “We believe that our culture is our greatest strength and […] the people of New Orleans create that culture.” The inclusive rebrand aims to represent the city’s residents, thousands of tourism industry employees and visitors.

Stephan Perry, President and CEO New Orleans & Company reveals the new brand name at the launch party on May 16, 2018.

Following the announcement of New Orleans & Company’s new brand, we took to the streets for a celebratory second line. We paraded our way through the French Quarter to the sounds of the Young PinStripe Brass Band. We danced alongside Mardi Gras Indians and almost bumped into stilt-walkers as we waved our New Orleans & Company handkerchiefs. Finally, the festivities concluded at the Steamboat Natchez with a champagne toast alongside the Mississippi River.

The Importance of Tourism Marketing

After the event we mused about why New Orleans is so alluring to visitors from around the globe. We realized that in today’s independent world, our “Do Whatcha Wanna” lifestyle brings people together (Rebirth Brass Band, 1997). At the launch party, Gregory Rusovich, CEO Transoceanic Development and New Orleans & Company’s 2018 Chairman of the Board explained that “New Orleans is the most authentic city in the world because of our unique culture. That’s the reason why millions visit each year.” And as Perry emphasized, culture exists because of the people. So in honor of New Orleans’ 300th birthday, we celebrate New Orleans & Company and the citizens who made this city great in the past, present and future.

Without "culture-bearers" like the Mardi Gras Indians, New Orleans "loses its soul," explained Perry during Wednesday's launch party.

Exhibition Banners for the Louisiana State Bar Association

JACKSON’S BODYGUARD EXHIBITION DISPLAY

Did you know a group of prestigious lawyers protected Major General Andrew Jackson during the War of 1812? “Jackson’s Bodyguard,” a hallway installation at the Hale Boggs Federal Building produced by The Honorable Mary Ann Vial Lemmon, curated by Mary Ann Wegmann, J.D. and designed by Synergy tells the stories of the lawyers chosen to be Jackson’s aide-de-camps during the Battle of New Orleans. We designed a series of exhibition banners to showcase important text. The banner stands gave Louisiana State Bar Association members a unique history lesson and transformed the feel of the space.

Branded Interior Transformation for UP Professional Solutions

YOUR PROFESSIONALISM, OUR SOLUTION

It is always a delight to work with UP Professional Solutions on their event and interior projects. Repurposing parts of their 2017 Downstream Engineering, Construction and Maintenance conference booth into a branded environment was an exciting challenge. As a result, the branded interior exuded professionalism with lots of team-building space for employees.

Conference Booth

Since 1980, UP Professional Solutions has connected skilled workers to jobs in the oil and gas and manufacturing industries. UP’s experience, integrity and commitment to employee and worksite safety earns recognition in the industry. To help our client stand out at #Downstream2017 we designed a halo-lit logo sign for the back wall. A backlit SEG graphic showcasing a UP employee performing a safety check establishes credibility and expertise. Additionally, a custom counter and color-coordinated carpet bring cohesion to the display.

Branded Interior

After its success at Downstream, UP wished to enhance its lobby space at their downtown New Orleans headquarters. The goal of the branded interior transformation was to express company culture, showcase awards and add collaborative space.

The glowing sign from the conference booth became a key part of an awards wall display. UP’s 3D tagline and LED shelves enhanced the branded signage. Additionally, we installed the SEG graphic on an unused wall. We repurposed the branded counter as a storage console and bar for company gatherings. Finally, using custom wallpaper, we highlighted UP’s mission, vision and values and created a collaborative nook.

First, we created a dynamic, eye-catching booth for UP by understanding our client and their sales and marketing objectives. Then we extended the life of their display investment by repurposing several exhibit elements into the lobby transformation. Consequently, the solution maintains brand consistency and motivates and inspires employees long after the show’s end.
